These are rules that the staff members of the forum MUST follow. Yes, even staff have to follow rules.
1.) Mod fairly. If you are not modding fairly, example being having user's Pokemon faint all the time or they never catch a single Pokemon or their attacks always miss you will be removed as a Mod.
2.) You are not all powerful, just because you have Mod powers. No backtalking hatefully to other members. Keep things polite and civil when dealing with users who broke a rule.
3.) No banning users on your own judgement. Come to me first and if I give you permission then you may ban.
4.) Which reminds me, you are not to do anything major to the site without asking me first. Example, fooling around with the skin, making changes to it. However, you are allowed to make your own skin if your Mod powers allow it.
5.) As the forum creator I always have the final say in things. This is MY forum, not yours after all. However, if in the future I ever decide I no longer want to keep this forum I will give it to the Mod most worthy of it, who I'm able to trust the most.
6.) Speaking of which, if I ever do give the forum to someone and later decide I changed my mind and want it back you must surrender the forum back to me.
7.) Yes, I take suggestions and requests for things on the site but don't be all bossy about it or bug me repeatedly if I don't answer right away.
8.) If I feel a Mod hasn't been keeping up with their work/hasn't logged into the site in a long time your powers may be removed. Nothing personal but I need staff who are able to do the work.
9.) If you no longer wish to be a staff member for whatever reason let me know. Don't just keep being a staff member when you're no longer interested.
10.) In some situations you may go ahead and punish without asking me first if I haven't been on the site in a long time and the rule broken is very serious. Serious crimes that can't wait to ask me would be:
Threatening to hijack the website and make changes.
Repeatedly posting up porn pictures or videos with sexual content.
Basically if they're posting anything that could get the forum deleted if nothing's done quickly. Oh, ya, also if they're getting personal contact details from users: Their home address, phone number, etc, any way to contact the user offline.
Another thing you may go ahead and ban for is if you have 100% proof the user is younger than 13 years of age. Proboards is for ages 13 and older. Anything else, ask me first.
